Keyword Strategy

The keyword module is where you build the foundation of your SEO strategy.

Discovering Opportunities

  1. Navigate to Keywords > Discover.
  2. Seed Keywords: Enter topics or phrases you want to explore.
  3. Targeting: Select your target country and language:
    • Languages: Dutch, English, German
    • Locations: Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, United Kingdom, United States
  4. Analysis: The system will return a list of related keywords with:
    • Volume: Monthly search frequency
    • Difficulty: A score representing how competitive the keyword is (color-coded: green <40, yellow 40-70, red >70)
    • CPC: Cost per click for paid advertising
    • Intent: The user's goal (Informational, Navigational, Transactional)
    • Trend: Whether the keyword is rising or declining

AI suggestions based on your business

In addition to volume-based discovery, you can also get AI-generated keyword recommendations tailored to your specific situation.

  1. On Keywords, click AI Suggestions (next to "Discover Keywords").
  2. Optionally add a focus hint (e.g. "B2B SaaS for coaches" or "Healthcare jobs") to steer the suggestions.
  3. The AI combines:
    • Your brand voice (from Settings)
    • Your connected sites
    • Your 10 most recent articles
    • Your competitors' top keywords (if you've run competitor analyses)
  4. You receive 10 ranked suggestions with a short reasoning per keyword on why it's promising for your business, plus the search intent.
  5. Check the keywords you want to save and click Add selected — they land in your pending list ready for curation.

Tip: the more competitor analyses you've run and the more specific your brand voice, the better the suggestions. You'll still want to pull volume + CPC for the picks via Discover.

Curation & Approval

Found a good keyword? Move it through the pipeline:

  • Approve: Add keywords to your "Approved" list. Only approved keywords can be used to generate content.
  • Priority: Mark critical keywords as "High", "Medium", or "Low" priority.
  • Reject/Delete: Keep your workspace clean by removing irrelevant suggestions.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple keywords to:

  • Approve all selected keywords at once
  • Generate content for multiple keywords
  • Delete selected keywords

Filtering & Sorting

  • Filter by status: All, Pending, Approved, Used
  • Sort by: Keyword name, Volume, Difficulty, CPC, Priority, Status
  • Search: Find specific keywords by name

Moving to Production

Once a keyword is approved, it's ready for content generation. You can trigger the generation process directly from the keyword list by clicking Generate Content.

Competitor Keywords

You can also discover keywords by analyzing your competitors. See Competitor Analysis for more details on importing competitor keywords.
