Getting Started ​

Welcome to your penr.ai instance. This guide will help you complete your initial setup and start generating content.

Initial Login ​

Access your penr.ai dashboard via your unique URL and log in using your administrator credentials.

Configuring Your Workspace ​

Before you can generate content, you need to provide your API credentials in the Settings page. These allow penr.ai to communicate with the various AI and data providers.

1. AI Content Generation ​

  • AI Model: Choose your preferred Claude model:
    • Claude Sonnet 4.5 (Recommended) - Best balance of quality and speed
    • Claude Haiku 4.5 - Faster generation, good for high volume
    • Claude Opus 4.5 - Highest quality output

2. Image Generation ​

  • Image Provider: Select your preferred AI image generator:
    • Replicate Flux (~€0.003/image) - High quality, affordable
    • Together.ai (~€0.002/image) - Most affordable option
    • DALL-E 3 (~€0.04/image) - Premium quality
    • None - Disable automatic image generation
  • Custom Image Prompt: Customize the prompt template using and placeholders

3. SEO Data ​

  • DataForSEO: Provides the search volume, difficulty, and keyword discovery data.

4. Google Integration ​

Connect your Google account to enable Google Search Console integration:

  1. Go to Settings > Google Integration
  2. Click Connect Google Account
  3. Authorize penr.ai to access your Search Console data
  4. Once connected, you can link specific GSC properties to your sites

Setting Your Brand Voice ​

To ensure the AI generates content that matches your brand's style, navigate to Settings > Brand Voice.

  • Describe your brand: Are you professional, witty, or academic?
  • Audience: Who are you writing for?
  • Tone: Select your default tone (e.g., "Professional", "Casual", or "Friendly").

You can also set per-site brand voice overrides in the site settings for multi-brand portfolios.

Default Content Settings ​

Configure your default preferences to speed up the generation process:

  • Default Language: Set your target language (Dutch, English, or German).
  • Default Tone: Professional, Casual, or Friendly.
  • Target Word Count: Choose a standard length for your articles (500-3000 words, default 1200).
  • Approval Workflow: Toggle "Require Approval" to ensure you always review content before it goes live.
